 In 2003, a community forum was held in Werribee to investigate the need for local, overnight, respite services in the City of Wyndham.
Many families were at breaking point caring 24/7 for their child with a disability.
Families needed a break then... they still need a break now!

The Solution A great facility, together with professional staff & our pool of trained & working with children checked volunteers, to be used as a base for flexible respite services by the many groups and people with respite needs. Situated in a prime location within the community close to the Aquatic Centre, the Entertainment Centre, the Community Youth Centre, Werribee Plaza, the Library, local schools and other facilities. Volunteers working with us have been assisting respite care services for families with children with special needs for more than 8 years.
